I have never written a negative review but felt I had to in this case. When we arrived, the front of the building and roof are falling in. I guess that should have been a clue. Exterior doors in the rear of the building would not open with room keys so they were blocked open all night, kind of scary from a security standpoint. Our room which was supposed to be non-smoking reeked of cigarette smoke. The water had a terrible sulfur smell. The WIFI didn't work and I could go on and on, but I'm sure you get my point. The first room we were given had a constant running water sound in the bathroom and a leak in the ceiling dripping onto the toilet and floor. We honestly thought we were at the wrong place.The lady at the front desk was friendly.The air conditioning doesnt work in the hallways.The water smells & tastes like iron.There was a layer of dust on everything in our room.Our non smoking room WAS a smoking room. Mold in ice bucket.Coffee maker filthy.Do NOT go to breakfast. 1st day-floor,table,food counters filthy. The FRESH food placed as we were walking in was ICE cold.Coffee full of grounds.Hoping for a waffle & a glass of juice on the 2nd day we return.No juice,no fresh fruit,no milk & the room WASNT cleaned.Wasnt trying the ice cold food again.Same food laying in same places.Employing sitting on his phone in the kitchen!! Virginia Motorsports Park will pay for the team of 10 to attend while any additional racer who wants to attend will pay their own way.
